Dreamality Demo Walkthrough
A spoiler-aware route through the unfinished Chapter 1 demo, with a full playthrough video in the middle.
This is a route through the Chapter 1 demo, not through a finished game. Rooms can still move. If a door that existed last week is a wall this week, trust the live place and check updates. For first-hour basics without spoilers, stay on getting started.
The video in the middle of this page is a real 47-minute all-badge playthrough of the demo. Use the text if you want a checklist. Use the video if you want to see a room before you enter it.
Spoiler level
- Light: area order and badge names.
- Medium: hide-and-seek, which NPCs matter, school as a stealth-search.
- Heavy: Sub Realm sermon, joke badges, the faceless man on the rug.
Stop at the park section if you only wanted navigation. Keep going if you already wiped on school twice.
Route overview
- Apartment / waking frame → Welcome To Dreamality, headache
- Open fields → open fields badge
- Nihility lands → nihility lands badge
- Park hide-and-seek → Playful, at least one shard
- Talk loop → A Listening Ear (can be done whenever NPCs exist)
- Rain / side path → Blind To The Rain
- School → the hard gate
- Optional: There’s nothing beyond., its so over…, Realism Is Not One
- Leave with Sweet Dreams? still awarded while the demo is the whole game
Apartment
You load in a domestic interior. Interact with highlighted props. Let the voice lines finish. The faceless figure may already be in the room; that is a character, not a desync. When the demo sends you to sleep, do not mash skip on the first fade — later badges care that you were present.
headache (“do you have any ibuprofen i have a headache”) fires on this spine for almost everyone. If you somehow skip it, you skipped a scene, not a secret. Rejoin and walk the opening again.
Open fields and nihility lands
Fields are the postcard: grass, trees, a glass building, daylight companion energy. Walk the perimeter. The badge is a visit award, not a puzzle. Take a screenshot if you want; the hero image on this wiki is this kind of space.
Nihility lands is the palette swap. Fog, less furniture for your brain, a name that sounds like a wiki title because it is trying to be one. Visit, breathe, leave when the path opens. Do not noclip looking for a twelfth badge here; the rare ones are later (badge tier list).
Park — do not skip
Children will ask you to play. Say yes. Hide-and-seek awards Playful and a shard. The last child is not in a void; players miss a kid who is simply standing somewhere obvious after you overthink it. Look behind trees, playground props, and the side of the path the camera does not advertise.
If you leave the park early, the demo will still let you walk toward school. You will then search “last shard” for an hour. Come back.
Talk while you are here. NPCs in daylight are how A Listening Ear starts stacking.
Blind To The Rain
The badge text is one word: “Predictable.” That is a hint to take the path that looks like a bad idea in a dream. If it is raining, or if an NPC tells you not to go out, that is the A-tier fork. Full notes stay on badges so this walkthrough can stay a spine.
School (medium-heavy)
The school is why this page exists. Community comments are blunt: it is too hard if you treat it like a walking sim. Treat it like a stealth-search:
- Slow down. Adults catch sprinting.
- Learn one loop, not ten random halls. The school guide is the loop.
- Pick up the objective items the room actually asks for. Do not assume you need twenty clocks; that was a different Roblox dream game.
- If you wipe, note the room. The tools hub explains a three-line wipe log.
You can finish the demo without every S-tier badge. You should not finish without at least attempting school honestly once.
Sub Realm and leftovers
There’s nothing beyond. is a conversation the dream does not want you to win. The badge description is seven refusals. If you find a place that feels like a lecture instead of a park, stay and answer. Award rate is tiny; that is normal.
its so over… is tagged as a joke badge. Do not build a religion around it.
Realism Is Not One is the rarest live award. Triggers are still argued in Discord. If a video claims a one-click method, compare it to the all-badge playthrough above before you trust it.
After the credits-that-are-not-credits
The demo ends like an unfinished chapter because it is one. Favorite the place. Tick the checklist. Read the roadmap so you know Sweet Dreams? is a timer disguised as a badge.
If you only needed one sentence: apartment, fields, nihility, park (play with the kids), talk too much, rain if it dares you, school slow, then hunt the sermon.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Dreamality demo players.
How long is the Dreamality demo?
A clean run is under an hour. All-badge hunts go longer. The embedded playthrough is about 48 minutes.
Does multiplayer change the walkthrough?
Routing stays the same. Other players are not required. They can show you a park hide you missed.
Can I skip the school?
Not if you want the demo’s actual ending spine. Scripts that noclip it are listed under scripts and will spoil the chapter.
Is this walkthrough for A Broken Dream?
No. That is a different Roblox story. This route is only for Frutiger Studios’ Dreamality demo.
